Primary responsibility will be to lead the Global Mobility Working Group in identifying and addressing key priority Global Mobility issues across the enterprise. The role will also be responsible for assisting or leading key projects to include the harmonization of global mobility responsibilities across the sectors and Inc, as well as coordinating the development of a plan to effectively integrate resources within the GM function. Finally, the position will also assist with the development of a Tiger Team across the sectors and Inc functions to win new business- specifically to assist with pulling together Inc HQ resources as part of the team. The role will back up the Director, Global Mobility Deployment and transition into that role on or about July 1, 2014. The successful candidate will have a background in key areas of global mobility to include deployment and/or international assignment practices, administration and support systems, have served as an HR business partner, and has led teams- either in a supervisory or matrixed capacity. Will also have experience in proposal processes.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Leading the Global Mobility Working Group and advancing issues, identification and resolution

Assisting with the creation of a Tiger Team- specifically leading the effort to pull together and oversee the Inc HQ functional team
Working with the Directors- GM- IAP and Deployments to understudy each activity

Broad knowledge of international assignment management is essential. Familiarity with Deployments is a plus. Exposure to immigration, tax, export and technical areas is a plus. In depth specialization is not required in any of those areas. Candidate must be able to demonstrate the willingness and capability to expand skills across the board.
Manager must be service oriented, a team player, and be able to recognize situations (1) where the manager's skill set is sufficient to resolve an issue and (2) where support from more experienced colleagues or consultants is required. General business acumen is required. Understanding of organizational structures is important.
Candidate must demonstrate the ability to be an influencer both within and outside the Global Mobility team. In the long term, the candidate may lead the entire Global Mobility function. The candidate will not have responsibility for direct reports while becoming an expert in the Deployment area. This responsibility will change once the expertise is developed.
Candidate must demonstrate the ability to develop and implement workable solutions to multiple, often conflicting requests.
