Job Description:
E.A. Sween Company (dba Deli Express) in Eden Prairie is looking for a full-time Accounting Manager to join our team. This position has direct responsibility for the accounting functions of the company, including the financial budgeting, update and year-end audit of the company’s books as well as support for the preparation of federal, state and local tax returns.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform system set-ups and period maintenance of the JD Edwards based financial accounting system and the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports and analysis every 4 weeks.
• Create and edit excel spreadsheets to support our quarterly update and annual budgeting cycles.
• Manage the cash, daily investment and/or borrowing activities for the company.
• Conduct annual audit of the company’s financial statements.
• Accurately prepare all schedules required to complete the federal and state income tax returns, state sales tax and country property tax returns
• Supervise the Staff Accountant and promote effective communications, team work and process improvement activities.
