Reporting to the Assistant Director, Housekeeping, this position oversee a workgroup within the University Housing Maintenance Department. Incumbent provides support for other University Housing departments by coordinating facility services, such as cleaning services, event set-ups, and grounds maintenance. Responsible for completing assigned tasks/projects within time and quality standards. Incumbent interacts with peers, subordinates and other departments to complete assignments. Provide on-call service to the University staff as required. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
A minimum of three
years of related experience managing an institutional maintenance environment.
Required Skills and Abilities:
*Demonstrated supervisory experience.
*Requires excellent communications skills and interpersonal skills.
*Demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize diverse tasks in a fast paced environment and handling stress situations.
*Experience in a University setting.
*Associate's Degree or higher strongly preferred.
