Responsibilities:
Work with a cross-functional team in an Agile software development environment
Deliver high-quality software on a frequent basis
Interact with project stakeholders to develop and refine requirements
Collaborate with senior software professionals to design and implement software applications
Reverse engineer and re-factor existing code for performance, scalability, and maintainability
Solid ability to work in a team environment (culture is really important to us)
Required Skills and Experience:
BS preferred, in CS, Information Technology or other scientific/linguistic fields or equivalent development experience
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and application domains
Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
Ability to develop simple, elegant solutions to complex problems
Enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with talented professionals
Ability to quickly adapt to a rapidly growing software organization
Excellent technical communication skills
No telecommuting; must report locally to Boulder office
Git and SCM best practices
Track record of using continuous integration and deployment principles
Must have GC or U.S. Citizenship
Desired skills:
Agile software development methodology
1+ year experience with Ruby on Rails
3+ years experience developing software in an object-oriented language
OO languages like C++, C#, Java or Ruby
Relational database interactions and the ability to write database queries in SQL
Other technologies: NoSql, MySql, ActiveMQ, XML, JSON
