Job Description:
Raytheon AST is in need of one senior software engineer to join a team responsible for developing mission monitoring service for the Mission Monitoring & Trend Analysis ADT.
The selected candidate will join a team designing and developing a mission monitoring service. The selected candidate will contribute and adapt to a dynamic requirements development process and support ad-hoc changes in direction from management to support evolving mission needs.
Java-Related Technologies: General: Standard edition, XML Processing, JMS
Database Tier: JDBC
Web Services: Server-side
User Interface- JSPs, Ext-JS
Required Skills:
Experience in Java (JEE), JMS, JMX, XML, IDE (Eclipse or Netbeans), SQL, Application Server integration and deployment
Experience with Agile Development Methodologies.
Required
Desired Skills:
Experience with systems and products such as Glassfish, IslandTransport, Oracle/MySQL, HP-OV, Esper, and general complex event processing products.
Experience with development and integration tools such as JUnit, Subversion, Maven, and Jira, or Version One, are also helpful.
Experience with building RESTful services
Consideration will be given to candidates in the Software Developer II or Software Developer III labor category.
Required Education (including Major):
Bachelor's Degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics or similar degree and meet the experience requirements
