Job Description

We are seeking a Software Development Project Manager for custom retail POS engagements. The Project Manager will work with clients and the development team to define projects, track project plans, delivery projects, and support delivered solutions.

Work with customers, business analysts, software developers, and software testers to provide project estimates, create project plans, track project plans, report status, and deliver quality solutions on time and within budget Support previously delivered solutions Lead teams of 6-10 people on multiple small projects Travel to customer locations is required on a limited basis. (Approx one week/quarter.)

Required Skills and Experience:
Experience with software development project management through the entire software development life cycle Strong technical and business communication skills

Desired Skills and Experience:
Business and requirements analysis experience Experience as a software developer or software tester Agile and waterfall software development process PMP certification Experience managing custom software engagements Contract/Statement of Work development and negotiation Rational Team Concert (RTC) BA/BS in computer programming or related field
