Macronutrient balances responsible for body composition changes during weight gain and loss 3. Metabolic effects of varying dietary macronutrient composition 4. Effects of dietary protein and exercise on body composition and energy metabolism These projects will be conducted as part of a unique interdisciplinary research team that includes a computational modeling approach to design, predict, and analyze experiments on whole-body human metabolism and quantitatively integrate these data to better understand the system as a whole.
