Assists in all activities related to credit approval process and collection of overdue accounts. Collects past due accounts through phone calls and correspondence. Maintains files and detailed call reports for collection activity. Ensures credit applications are recorded and processed. Assists departments in resolving billing procedures. Ensures credit policies and procedures are known and understood. Attends weekly staff meetings to go over schedules, group arrivals, new hotel policies and discuss any problems or suggestions.
Minimum (6) months to (1) year experience in service and/or hospitality industry required. Knowledgeable in Microsoft word and excel required. One year consistent work history with single employer required. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
