This position is responsible for the following responsibilities in Automotive Power (multiple devices) Switches Department: (transistor with diodes) Power Steering, Hybrid Motor.
-- Develops new IGBT and diode products for automotive market
-- Must have ability to work and communicate effectively with wafer manufacturing, PDK, device characterization, packaging, reliability, and applications.
-- Leads product development through definition, feasibility, qualification, and manufacturing transfer.
-- Works with process integration to develop cost effective process flows.
-- Analyzes parametric distributions and product yields. Support production with yield enhancement and technical problem solving.
-- Hands-on characterization of devices, test structures and process monitors to analyze and identify device design issues and processing issues related to electrical performance or yields or reliability.
-- Thorough documentation of the technical work is an important requirement.
-- Emphasis on project execution to meet the production schedule is essential.
-- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Technical Requirements
-- Good understanding of IGBT device physics.
-- Proficient in statistical analysis of data. Experience with statistical analysis tools such as JMP.(s/w tool to analyze data)
-- Deep understanding of the interactions between fabrication processing and device behavior.
-- Experience with process integration is required.
-- Working knowledge of assembly, packaging.
-- Experience with device measurement techniques for both manual characterization and automated testing.
-- Experiences with process and device simulation, and CAD tools are pluses.

Education Requirements:
  • PhD or MS in EE or Physics with 2+ years of relevant experience in device physics, characterization, process integration, and reliability.
