The Medical Dosimetrist is responsible for the calculations and treatment planning for patients receiving radiation therapy to determine machine settings appropriate to deliver the dose prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. This person assumes responsibility and accountability for the duties and is cognizant of the philosophy, standards, objectives, and policies of the Charlotte Kimelman Cancer Institute.
