The Quality Manager will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role, you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, utilize your experience to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others and contribute to the overall business strategy. In this role, you will:
Oversee and improve a Quality Management System which meets all GET and customer requirements, incorporating appropriate process controls for applicable regulatory requirements for AAR, ISO 9001, etc
Develop, mentor, and track continuous improvement projects to instill desired focus on quality growth
Conduct training on quality assurance concepts and tools
Execute GET process and methods engineering plan rollout to ensure effective operator work instructions
Plan, organize, implement and direct the application of assigned human and material resources to assure delivery of products and/or services that meets established requirements and fulfills customers’ needs and expectations
Maximize the use of assigned resources to assist GE in meeting its quality, schedule and profit objectives
Establish goals, work plans, and budgets such that lowest cost and highest quality results are achieved
Compile and report all organization measurements on quality and cost
Interface with design engineering, projects, assembly, and vendors to assure requirements are met on time meeting specifications
Assure that unit activities comply with all applicable government regulations and contract requirements
Assure audit of areas of responsibility for conformance to quality plans, systems and requirements
Analyze product losses, material review activity, manufacturing costs and maintain programs to meet objectives
Provide quality plans to monitor and report quality delays, control and monitor significant out of tolerance gages
Develop and maintain a communication plan to provide employees with adequate information concerning business goals and objectives
Establish a climate that encourages an open two-way channel of communication whereby employees exchange ideas / suggestions and share information
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality control, improvement, or engineering role that provides leadership to cross-functional teams in the quality / process improvement environment
Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Working knowledge and experience with machining / fabricating and/or assembly and test processes
Additional leadership experience in the areas of Operations, Manufacturing, or Quality
Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification (GE employees only)
Significant prior experience in Quality System Planning and Quality Improvement methods
Executive level presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to excel in all customer service areas
Proven record of meeting & exceeding customer / business needs as well as developing direct reports
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Proven analytical abilities
