The Lead Analyst – Data Loss Prevention will be a key contributor within a dynamic, growing team providing IT Risk Solutions across the GE Company. This role will working closely with GE businesses to drive effective and efficient IT Risk Solutions, specializing in DLP and data protection technologies. The DLP Lead Analyst will employ knowledge and skills in a wide range of DLP technologies and systems administration to lead technical design, delivery, operations & support for the GE Data.
Essential Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation and delivery of comprehensive, database-focused data protection technologies in coordination with defined enterprise goals.
Collaborate with GE business stakeholders to capture initial and ongoing DLP functionality requirements, and test and implement these successfully into the production DLP capability as outlined
Advanced administration of the DLP systems deployed, including the troubleshooting, configuration, policy management, workflows, rulesets, reporting, and access & change management
Balance concurrent priorities for multiple global efforts, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of project artifacts and deliverables
Provide work estimation and consultative validation of technical feasibility and principles as part of the delivery process
Act as a primary contact for DLP design, incident handling, secure data storage, and change management
Prepare detailed documentation on DLP policy, system configuration, and procedures, as well as ongoing security incident and project status metrics for outward reporting
Perform ongoing research to maintain awareness of industry trends and best practices
Act as technical Subject Matter Expert on DLP standards and technology, influencing cross-business & leadership teams as appropriate to drive future state of solutions
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technology field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security and systems administration
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management
Minimum of 5 years of experience administering email, web, endpoint, and / storage DLP technologies

Desired Characteristics
Comprehensive understanding of DLP principles (technical and process), data security best practices and the mitigation of enterprise data risk
Exceptional collaborative, analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with the ability to work independently and drive projects to closure
Experience with a broad range of DLP & data security technologies, including Symantec, RSA, Cisco, McAfee, Verdasys, AppSec
Experience implementing and / or administering DLP technologies at various points of potential egress. I.e. At rest (DB / PC encryption, access management, content discovery scanning), In use (endpoint), and In transit (web / email gateway, network DLP)
Excellent technical writing, interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to succinctly communicate to team members, stakeholders and management
Strong functional and technical knowledge of defense-in-depth, layered security architectures, systems administration and enterprise IT environments (database, client / server, VM and cloud)
ITIL Certification
LEAN or Six Sigma experience
Familiarity with ISO 27000 and / or COBIT 4
SANS GIAC, CISSP, or CISA / CISM certifications
