The Project Director of Reservation Systems is responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and administering all Project activities for the Central Reservation System, three user interfaces, and more than ten electronic interfaces supporting several billion dollars in annual revenue generation. Position is directly responsible for planning and executing all projects involving the Hilton Worldwide Reservation Systems environment. Position is responsible for establishing requirements and objectives in partnership with other HWW business units that support the overall delivery of Distribution projects, interfacing with Customer Relationship Management, brand website, and Property-level development groups. In cooperation with Senior IT Management, position is responsible for helping achieve major goals and project objectives that support IT business plans and objectives.
This Director has budgetary responsibility for all projects and directs a staff generally including positions at a senior manager/manager levels including the authority with concurrence from Human Resources, to terminate employment if justified. It is expected that this Director will have had at least 10 years of prior experience in lower level exempt positions, with at least 2 years at the director level.
- A minimum of five (5) years of prior project mgmt experience
- A minimum of two (2) years experience at the director level
- A minimum of ten (10) years experience in development and delivery roles
- Four (4) year college degree in Computer Science or IT related field
- Supervisory experience advantageous
- A minimum of one (1) year professional experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
