The Administrative Assistant for Major Gifts is a key member of the Major Gifts team within the Office of Advancement. Providing detail-oriented support for three to five Major Gifts Officers, the successful candidate will prove a strong aptitude in managing a variety of individual and team-oriented tasks.

The Administrative Assistant for Major Gifts will:
Day-to-day administrative and clerical support of three to five staff members in their activities of engaging, soliciting and stewarding major and planned gift donors to the University.
Distribution, filing and contact maintenance for all reports generated by the major gifts professional staff.
Accurately enter data into the University's current database, Datatel and our new system, Advance, once the migration occurs.
Work with each Major Gifts Officer to accurately distribute their travel plans on both the Advancement Office's digital shared calendar as well as distribute their detailed travel plans prior to their departure from campus.
Other duties as assigned by the Associate Vice President for Advancement.
An undergraduate degree from an accredited two or four-year institution, as well as two or more years of administrative experience in a professional work environment.
Proven ability to work collegially with a diverse set of constituents, including donors, alumni, and Advancement colleagues.
Proven ability to demonstrate the highest ethical standards and the ability to work with confidential information.
Demonstrated success in working independently with high quality, attention to detail, and timeliness.
Strong capabilities working with standard Microsoft Office applications, as well as other commonly used business software.
