Reporting to the Program Manager, the Project Office Engineer will work with government agencies, vendors, and contractors to discover innovative engineering solutions for missile defense systems and platforms in such areas as sensors, propulsion, avionics, guidance, delivery or pay loads. We seek an engineer that feels comfortable running projects from the requirements definition through product delivery. The ability to work in a highly integrated team is required as is an active secret clearance. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience working within a Government Project Office. You will possess strong communication skills, and be able to lead and participate in generating high technical solutions to complex problems. The ability to work on-site is required. Some travel, up to 25%, perhaps more is required. Our client offers a competitive compensation plan, to $120k, perhaps more, and an excellent benefit plan.
Qualifications: Seven years of engineering experience, a degree in mechanical, electrical or systemâ??s engineering is required. Active Secret clearance required, TS preferred. Prio m ilitary or DoD civil service experience is helpful.
