Manages the physical environment of the patient care unit; Monitors and directs utilization of supplies and other resources related to the care of the patient; plans and directs patient care utilizing the nursing process; Effectively communicates pertinent information to appropriate individuals; Keeps accurate and complete documentation of all patient care related information; Participates in counting procedure and time out procedure for each case, complying with PCH policy and procedure; ensures patient / family receive appropriate healthcare education and instruction for discharge.
Performs as a scrub technician on minor procedures or retractor holder on major procedures

RN Degree, BSN Preferred
This position takes call; required to return to the hospital within _15___ minutes when on call.
