For over 30 years, Vein Clinics of America (VCA) has been dedicated to the treatment of all aspects of Vein Disease. Acknowledged as experts in the field, VCA has helped lead advances in the treatment of Vein Disease. And with over 50 clinics, across 15 states, we’re growing! VCA is currently seeking a Community Ambassador to represent our clinics and our company and to market our services at community events throughout Maryland and Virginia. In this role, you will work closely with Medical Liaisons, the Regional Marketing Manager, and with the clinics to identify and prepare for these local marketing opportunities and provide a professional, effective presence at events.
Responsibilities in this role will include the following:
Seek out and identify local marketing events and opportunities, i.e. health and wellness fairs, through research, community awareness and consultation with assigned clinics.
Plan and organize VCA’s participation at events.
Actively promote and sell VCA services at events, distributing clinical information and providing approved marketing information and literature to health care professionals and to the general public.
Search out, gather and track inquiries at events, schedule appointments, and arrange for follow-up.
Generate sales contact opportunities by calling local employer groups, private physician offices, health care organizations, business and professional groups and other community organizations.
Follow-up with local employer groups and physicians to gather feedback and questions; provide feedback to sales management regarding customer requests, responses to promotions and product access.
Actively work to achieve territory sales targets by teaming with Medical Liaisons, the Regional Marketing Manager and others to execute Plan of Action marketing strategies, deliver medical education programs, and effectively communicate VCA’s branded sales messages.
Additional duties as assigned by Sr. Medical Liaison and National Sales Manager.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following:
Bachelor’s degree (Required)
Experience in event planning, implementation and follow-up.
Experience in healthcare services
The ability to clearly and effectively communicate ideas and data, both verbally and in writing.
The ability to build and maintain client relationships; prospect for leads.
Superb customer service and interpersonal skills; the ability to interact effectively with Physicians, other healthcare professionals and the general public.
Strong attention to detail; the ability to maintain accurate and detailed records of leads, appointments and follow-up.
The ability to set priorities and workflow to accomplish day-to-day tasks in a timely manner.
The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Must be able to work some evening and weekend hours.
