Twitter's mobile team is looking for new members of our technical staff to work on cutting edge projects. You will work on our small team, own the projects that you work on, and have direct input into the business decisions that change the way people share and discover what's happening on a mobile device.
Responsibilities
Build exciting new experiences on Twitter's mobile websites, SMS, and provide APIs for native mobile clients
Work closely with product management, interaction designers, and other teams
Rapidly fix bugs and solve problems - Conduct design and code reviews
Pro-actively look for ways to make Twitter better
Requirements
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Excellent OO programming skills in Ruby on Rails
Daily practitioner of TDD and BDD
2+ years experience with Javascript/HTML/CSS/Ajax/HTTP
Familiarity with Unix/Linux
Experience building, debugging, and maintaining large scale distributed web applications
Comfortable with agile techniques like user stories and pair programming
Strong communication and documentation skills
Desired
Experience building mobile websites for a wide range of mobile platforms
Experience with HTML5
Previous startup experience
Active user of Twitter
Active Twitter API developer
