Performs data entry relative to prescription and refills.

Coordinates laboratory interactions and schedule and obtains, documents, and communicates lab results to appropriate departments. Assists with tracking and obtaining controlled substance prescriptions.

Assists patients in maintaining appropriate inventory levels of all needed supplies and medications.

Tracks Medicaid prescription renewals and routes them to the appropriate departments.

Trains all clinical support specialists and home patient representatives to pharmacy and branch functions and responsibilities.

Identifies and resolves customer service issues or initiates the assistance of a clinician or manager for resolution.

Schedules deliveries of medications and supplies for patients.

Coordinates completion and archiving of discharges patient charts.

Assists with scheduling of all clinical support specialists and home patient representatives.

Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.


Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma or GED; some college or AA degree preferred.

At least one year related experience in coordinating activities, administrative support functions, customer service, experience as nurse's aide/LPN, pharmacy technician, home patient representative, or Patient Service Representative is preferred.

Registered pharmacy technician.
