Group Secretariat team is responsible for managing all Mercer Boards in Australia. This includes scheduling of meetings; preparation, review and distribution of Board meeting papers, preparation of agendas and minutes; managing actions arising from Board meetings and maintaining corporate records and registers. It also includes liaison with Directors, management and regulators. Group Secretariat also manages corporate insurances, including co-ordinating renewal of cover.
The purpose of the role is to provide administrative and operational support to the Group Secretariat team to assist in the delivery of high quality, timely and efficient services to Mercer Australian Boards and the business.
Group Secretariat aims to provide high level of service to all Boards with particular focus on accuracy, efficiency and timeliness. We are looking for a dynamic, hard working person who is eager to take on challenges, is a good team player, self motivated and highly organised.
Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Outlook
Good time management and organisational skills with the ability to multi task
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work well under pressure
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Team player, self motivated with a flexible approach
Degree or diploma qualified preferred
Previous experience within a similar secretarial/administration role is preferable but not essential
