Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP advises clients on managing business controversy and conflict, executing deals, and maintaining regulatory compliance. We provide services to companies throughout their lifecycle from purchasing a company to investigating potential fraud.
Senior Managers are expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways, including:
· Engagement Management: Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk
· Client Management: Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors
· Business Development: Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies
· Practice Development & Eminence: Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop "thoughtware" and "point-of-view" documents; participate in public speaking events; get published in industry periodicals
· People Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices
Responsibilities:
· Focus on providing advisory services in the following areas to address key Senior Leadership issues: revenue cycle, reimbursement/regulatory, finance transformation, supply chain, managed care-provider and managed care-payer operations
· Work with a broad spectrum of not-for-profit and for-profit healthcare clients, including healthcare systems, HMOs and health insurance companies
· Help our clients across multiple functional areas with business performance management, analytics enablement, growth/strategy, process improvement, cost reduction, technology implementation and enterprise transformation
Required Skills:
A minimum of 10 years experience of related work experience
A Bachelor's Degree is required
Ability to work independently, manage small engagements or parts of large engagements
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
In addition, successful Senior Managers will also have the following preferred skills:
A degree with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting, and/or Business; CPA, MBA, MHA and/or MPH is a plus
6+ years of health plan operations experience, preferably with prior experience as a manager (or above), in a consulting firm or in a management role at a health plan
Experience in one of the following areas is preferred: health plan operations (including claims or call center management), compliance, network management/provider relations, medical management, sales management or finance
Willingness to mentor junior staff
An advanced degree is preferred
Willingness to travel up to 75%
Candidates must be eligible to receive a US Government Security Clearance.
