The Program

The International Management Trainee Program is a two-year accelerated development Program that is the start of a rewarding career path at BAT. Management Trainees (MTs) will be given the opportunity to work on real tasks from the beginning, directly contributing to the business and taking on increased levels of responsibility as they progress. The MT Program provides a solid foundation in a particular functional area, and widens participants' perspectives through leadership and business competency development. The Program is structured around a highly effective integrated learning approach, with focus on, on-the-job development interventions, interaction with others and formal training Program.

The International Management Trainee Program at British American Tobacco is specially designed for independent and motivated thinkers who love learning and taking on new challenges and responsibilities.

To ensure that you get a full understanding of the strategic nature of HR you will be exposed to a number of different business areas. These include: Talent and Organisational Development; Learning and Development; Reward; HR Marketing; and HR Operations. Besides building functional HR expertise, the management trainee programme will develop your overall business awareness and leadership skills.
