The role has responsibility for developing and delivering the Lean Six Sigma strategy to drive continuous improvement in the Nuclear Services / Fuels P&L. This individual will work with business leaders to proactively drive measurable process improvements, identify and deliver strategic operational benefits, and both actively support quality needs incorporated into business rhythms and champion specific improvement areas.

Essential Responsibilities

In addition, you will:
Develop and manage execution of the annual Strategic Quality Plan for the Nuclear Services / Fuels P&L

Work with process owners to identify, prioritize and drive process improvement opportunities that contribute to product quality, reduce cycle time, minimize cost of quality, and improve NPS scores

Champion the use of Lean tools and lead Action Work-Outs

Train, coach, and mentor Black Belts and Green Belts

Manage Lean Six Sigma employee training and engagement

Become Master Black Belt trained and certified

Become Root Cause Analysis leader trained and certified

Lead and manage multiple Six Sigma projects using DMAIC, DFSS, and CAP tools

Lead root cause analysis efforts related to both specific incidents and systematic conditions adverse to quality

Drive Lean Six Sigma standards & rigor in all projects

Report results and issues to appropriate audiences including key leaders and process team members

Facilitate Best Practice Sessions, Work Outs, and Benchmarking

Execute special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline

Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a Nuclear Energy environment

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS :
Certification contingent on completion of GE Power & Water and GE Nuclear Energy requirements, including an expected assignment duration of at least 24 months

Green Belt Certified (GE Employees only)

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Strong PC skills, specifically Excel & PowerPoint

Experience with Lean quality programs, processes, and implementation
