Role Overview: This role reports to the Operations Manager. Coordinates/Oversees the activities involved in the movement, storage and accountability of packaging and raw materials, ensuring its availability for production requirements. The person in this role will provide technical expertise, leadership and training for the specified areas listed below:
EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:
Ensures that proper packaging and raw material inventory levels/procedures/controls are followed.
Verifies and enters daily inventory transactions on all manufacturing materials.
Controls cooler/freezer operation to include layout, inventory, proper temperatures, stock rotations, housekeeping, maintenance and security.
Ensures proper storage of packaging and raw material and on-time safe delivery to the appropriate production line based on production schedule.
Prepares, monitors, reviews and coordinates all paperwork for material movement to ensure smooth start-up.
Assist with line returns of materials after production runs.
Ensures proper inventory levels by conducting periodic audits.
Participates in daily cycle counting process.
Anticipates problems and recommends solutions.
Work closely with Receiving, Cost Accounting and Manufacturing to resolve issues and/or help implement new procedures.
Work closely with Quality and Planning to ensure proper movement of raw materials, physically and system-wide, based on test material and production runs, material rejection, bill of material changes etc.
Maintains adherence to all company policies and

High School Diploma or GED
College Degree preferred
2+ years work experience in materials or
inventory control RF Scan environment.
Strong Leadership skills with ability to work
Strong organizational skills
Detail orientated; High Level of Accuracy
Excellent math skills required
Strong analytical skills
Accounting/Finance background helpful
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
with ability to quickly pick up other software
and computer systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to safely operate a forklift.
Ability to do physical inventory and cycle
Ability to walk/stand on concrete floors for
extended periods of time.
