Our focus is placing top performers within Accounting & Finance – primarily CFO’s, Chief Accounting Officers, Controllers, Treasurers, Asset & Liability Managers, and Portfolio Managers.
If you are an Accounting and Finance Professional and have 15+ years of experience either in a Top Ten Public Accounting Firm as a Partner (or Senior Manager) leading bank engagements and/or are gainfully employed today as a Corporate Controller, Director of Accounting Policy, or Directory of Internal Audit working with $10B+ Banks, and are looking for a new challenge, this may very well be the opportunity for you.

They have been strategically on the offensive taking advantage of banking turmoil in a way that has been meaningful for both their customers as well as their shareholders.
They have established significant ‘mass’ and fully anticipate these growth opportunities to continue and are in need of a strong Chief Accounting Officer with a tactical, yet strategic bent, to help them build for their future.

Reporting to a top flight CFO, with outstanding Line of Business Managers (Financial Reporting, Financial Accounting, Tax, and Regulatory Reporting) as direct reports, one couldn’t pick a better time to join this organization and take a team that is solid and making them great is what is paramount to being successful in this role.
You will have carte blanche to build bench strength and add depth to your team as you build infrastructure to support future growth.
The essence of the Chief Accounting Officer role includes being tactical when you need to be tactical, but by and large remaining strategic and staying ‘out of the weeds’ as you provide oversight of the entire 30+ person accounting team.
Being very well versed on US GAAP, Accounting Policy, General Ledger, SEC Regulatory Reporting and Filing, SOX 404, Budgeting, Forecasting, Mergers & Acquisitions, and SOP 03-3 is key in this role.
We are looking for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), currently having 15+ plus years of Public Accounting Experience auditing banks either as a Partner (or Senior Manager), or a sitting Corporate Controller of an established SEC Registrant (Bank specific).
This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, strong presentation skills, decisiveness, and attention to detail.
Daily interface with Executive Management is part of this role and having the poise, the polish, and professionalism to handle that spotlight is a ‘must have’ as well.
