The OR Endoscopy Registered Nurse is responsible for the nursing activities related to care of patients experiencing an OR endoscopy or other invasive procedures requiring IV conscious sedation” within the Surgical Services Unit.
This position will be responsible for organization of OR Endoscopy Unit including care of equipment, providing IV Conscious Sedation, maintaining staff training and process improvement in the department.
Minimum requirements (the following are minimal qualification necessary for entry into this classification)
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
License(s): Current State of Alaska Registered Nurse license.
Certification(s): BLS and ACLS
Experience : Two (2) years OR and GI/Endoscopy experience with moderate sedation for procedures.
