The Payroll Specialist will play a significant role in all aspects of payroll for over 3,000 employees in 5 states. Prior multi-state payroll processing experience is preferred.
Processing payroll for multiple assigned companies with diverse administrative needs
Dispensing payroll checks and processing electronic deposits, W-2 forms and reports, payroll registers, etc.
Ensuring accurate calculations, timely processing and compliance with federal and multi-state laws.
Managing regular preparation of relevant management reports, including weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports (gross payroll, hours worked, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc).
3-5 years payroll processing experience, at least 2 years high volume processing. (ADP PayXpert is a plus)
Strong problem solving skills (including change management)
Ability to think outside the box in order to improve processes and procedures
Excellent written and communication skills
Established customer service background
Strong computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required
Can-do and whatever-it-takes attitude
Demonstrated leadership skills; ability to work individually and within a group
