Serve as interface between stress and systems design departments to ensure analysis and testing is complete.
Work within non-metallic stress group to write analysis reports, review vendor supplied analysis and provide input on test results.
Provide engineering support in aircraft stress analysis for the HondaJet project.
Analysis areas include mechanical and flight control systems, interiors, and secondary structures.
4 year degree in a Mechanical, Civil, or Aeronautical Engineering. Experience with CATIA v5, FEMAP/PATRAN, NASTRAN.
Knowledge of aircraft certification to 14 CFR 23/25 requirements a plus.
Desirable experience in Fibersim, aircraft construction techniques, composite curing, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
