SBS Pricing Conversion and Validation is primarily responsible for the migration of customer pricing rules and
data from Sysco's legacy system to an enterprise wide SAP based solution.

Responsibilities:DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads a Pricing Team within the Sales Support organization of Sysco Business Services (Sysco's North American shared service center)
Provides daily direction and support to Pricing Associate staff including:
Provide pricing expertise, guidance in pricing system use (SAP), troubleshooting support, and issue escalation
Delegate work and coordinates activities of staff members
Oversee and ensures quality and timeliness of activities required to update pricing rules
Serve as a point of pricing issue escalation
Leads and develops the team:
Support recruiting, staffing, training and onboarding processes
Assist with employee goal setting and completes performance evaluations for assigned staff
Oversee team time management and scheduling processes
Perform other supervisory responsibilities as appropriate
Provides support to the Sysco sales force and SBS call center team by troubleshooting price calculations and anwering pricing inquiries
Leads team efforts to identify improvement opportunities and continuously improve Pricing team performance
Coordinates other Sysco organizations as appropriate (e.g. Sysco Sales Force, SBS Agreement Services, SBS Call Center, Sysco Corporate)
Qualifications:REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION:
High School or Equivalent
REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
3-5 years progressive experience in pricing administration or cost management.
Or Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years related pricing or accounting experience.
At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
Previous experience in foodservice or the foodservice distribution industry
Previous experience with Profit Management, Contract Sales or Accounting.
CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Basic computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office
SAP software experience preferred
ABILITIES AND SKILLS:
Understands pricing as directed by Sysco sales force and selects and applies the correct price rules and calcuations
Strong math and analytical skills
Understands and interprets customer agreements, contracts and pricing terms and conditions
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Ability to independently and proactively resolve problems within established parameters.
Ability to research information, and analyze data to arrive at valid conclusions for recommending plans of action.
Ability to prepare reports and present ideas clearly and concisely to all levels of the organization both orally and written.
Ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationship with both internal and external clients.
