ABOUT THE POSITION
The Corporate Sales - Business Development Manager creates, identifies and closes sales for ExactTarget within a specific geographical territory. As the individual who represents ExactTarget and drives the revenue of our firm, the Corporate Sales - Business Development Managers must be a self-starting closer who can create a large pipeline of business within a short period of time and effectively manage complex deals through the entire sales process to closure.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create and drive revenue within a specified territory
• Generate business opportunities through professional, dedicated prospecting and cold-calling
• Drive brand awareness campaigns and lead generation in assigned territory
• Meet or exceed all quarterly and annual sales quotas
• Own the sales cycle - from lead generation to closure
• Develop strategic territory business plan
• Maintain account and opportunity forecasting within our CRM
• Generate leads from tradeshows and regional networking events
• Ensure 100% customer satisfaction and retention
Requirements
• A proven sales hunter and closer
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of complex software sales experience
• Interactive one-to-one marketing, sales or professional services background, particularly in the SaaS space
• Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills – both verbal and written
• Demonstrated ability to deal with change and be a team player
• Ability and proven experience with strategic thinking and complex decision making
• Thorough knowledge of MS Office software including Project, Access, Visio, Excel, Word, & Power Point
• Track record of sales excellence
• Superior professionalism and business acumen
• Experience selling at the "C" level a plus
• Knowledge of ExactTarget platform, products, and services, are a plus
• 4 year college degree
