Managing the ultimate achievement of corporate sales objectives by individual product line category within specified geographical areas and within budgeted financial guidelines.
Administering, directing, and monitoring activities of district sales operations to ensure adherence to and implementation of corporate sales plans and programs. Reviewing performance against forecast and taking corrective action where necessary.
Initiating, participating in, and supervising on-going training of district sales managers in sales management training skills and effectiveness for future career development.
Recruiting, selecting, and hiring district sales managers (in conjunction with sales recruiting organization, if applicable). Evaluating and recommending personnel actions such as promotion, salary changes, and termination.
Establishing and maintaining communication lines at all levels to ensure positive working relationship and productivity.
Establishing and maintaining strategies to improve client base and administering sales and client incentive programs.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Administration with 5-7 years experience in second level sales or marketing management is required. The equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
