Uses clinical knowledge as a registered nurse to assess the health needs of targeted and diverse employee populations, and to institute wellness programs to meet those needs. Participates in short and long-range health & wellness program development. Coordinates and interacts with department heads, wellness committees, and senior management. Upholds the standards of the system-wide customer service program.
Job Qualifications (required):
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Promotion, Community Health Education or related field.
Current registered nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
At least two years of progressively responsible experience in health education or wellness.
Solid knowledge of current and emerging health and well-being concepts, strategies, methods and techniques.
Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and written and interpersonal communication skills, including group presentation experience.
Ability to work effectively with wide range of constituencies.
Strong research and analytic skills.
Must be proficient with PC, including the ability to compose, edit and produce reports using word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications.
Job Qualifications (preferred):
Experience in establishing/starting a health and wellness program.
Experience in health education or health promotion in a healthcare setting.
Certified Health & Wellness Coach or Specialist.
