The Florida Hospital System in Orlando is seeking several dynamic and energetic, board certified Family Medicine physician leaders to start a new practice. Opportunities are also available to possibly join an established practice with one of our local physicians depending on experience, background, and interest. Our goal is to complement and expand upon Florida Hospital Medical Group's
Primary Care physician base in the Tri-County area. You would have the opportunity to focus on outpatient care only or incorporate inpatient care if desired. You will also have the chance to collaborate with the system's highly-regarded specialists to maintain a preeminent Primary Care service for Florida Hospital. Physician candidates will be located around the Greater Orlando area depending on community need and market strategy. Ideal candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills as marketing and media opportunities are required for these positions. EMR is currently being implemented in the outpatient practices. Board Certification required; board eligibility accepted if less than two years out of training.
We are aggressively seeking full-time Family Medicine physicians who are able to demonstrate skill in the following:
The Central Florida division of the Florida Hospital system consists of over 2,200-beds and over 2000 physicians on our medical staff. We see over 1 million patients per year in inpatient, outpatient and emergency room visits. We are part of the Adventist Health System, a non-profit, faith-based organization with a mission to "extend the healing ministry of Christ".
- Ability to see high volume of patients
- Desire to participate in media opportunities
- Strength to build a solid patient base
- Focus on patient satisfaction
This opportunity includes the benefits of call coverage and competitive compensation. Other benefits include occurrence-based malpractice coverage, paid leave days, CME days and allowance, 403b retirement plan, health insurance for physician and family, and relocation allowance. This practice will be part of Florida Hospital Medical Group (FHMG).
FHMG is a sister organization of Florida Hospital which employs over 270+ physicians in 30+ specialties. This aligned model and practice management experience provides the opportunity for the physicians to focus on the clinical aspects of medicine.
Whether administering life-saving care for a premature infant, offering hope for a young leukemia patient, or educating an adult newly diagnosed with diabetes, FHMG physicians focus their efforts on patient care. Our practice and corporate support staff provide the customer service, billing, human resources, managed care and administrative services that allow our physicians to concentrate on what they do best - applying their knowledge, skill and experience to improve the health and well being of the individuals they serve.
Guided by our Mission and Commitments, FHMG physicians and staff continuously seek to improve our standard of care, exceed customer expectations and improve patient satisfaction. We accomplish this through ongoing education and training and by listening to our patients. Our determination to bring more primary care physicians and specialists to the community is possible only because of the trust and confidence our patients place in us.
