Reports directly to Division/Region President and would have the
Community Development Manager reporting in to them directly.
Plans, consults and recommends on the sales and service activities for Commercial & Business Banking in the field.
Leverages and drives cross-lob partnerships at the region/division level with PWM, Treasury, S@W, Leasing, MM, …etc).
Plays a “quarterback role” as it relates to managing client planning activities, results monitoring, and follow up across the region (Commercial & Business Banking, PWM, and other partners as identified).
Provides observation, coaching and feedback to identify gaps and areas to focus on as well as driving best practice sharing within the Region/Division Commercial & Business Banking team.
Helps regional and divisional leadership drive the sales and service processes and related initiatives in order to improve profitable sales production.
Uses regional Key Performance Metrics as a key component to evaluate performance, identify gaps, and help build action plans.
Provides support on the execution of corporate initiated sales and service programs (can include problem resolution and/or implementation).
Plans and prepares key communications for Division/Region President on sales-related initiatives and in response to media inquiries and requests.
Drives Commercial & Business Banking regional planning, performance, and execution around client loyalty as required by our corporate client loyalty programs and in concert with Regional/Divisional leadership teams.
Provide oversight on community engagement/leadership related activities in the Market and Regional/Divisional business development opportunities.
Is the regional contact to manage the Regional/Divisional Marketing investment to include collaboration with Region/Division President and LOB Managers on sponsorship opportunities/donations to ensure we are effectively leveraging the brand and driving new business opportunities.
For the Divisional Commercial and Business Banking Sales Manager role, considerable travel to Regions required in order to fulfill requirements of role.
College degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Credit experience and sales training
