Model and Talent Management Agency (MTM) was founded almost three decades ago by Mr. John Casablancas. John Casablancas is the founder of the Elite Model Management Agency, the largest modeling and talent agency in the world. Elite has represented most of the worlds top supermodels. The MTM Agencies were created to serve the graduates of the John Casablancas Modeling and Career Centers and other qualified models and actors/actresses in local markets. Mr. Casablancas created this group of agencies to develop talent on a local basis and then promote that talent to his national and international agencies located throughout the world. MTM has offices in many major cities in the U.S. and has served thousands of clients throughout its history. Talent perform a variety of assignments that include runway modeling, catalog, fashion shows, print, commercial acting, promotions and film. Clients include local boutiques, film producers, designers, television networks, department stores, retail promotion companies, casting directors, photographers and more. MTM works with models and talent of all ages and gender. Acting assignments many times call for talent of all sizes, ages and ethnic backgrounds. Each MTM Agency is staffed by an experienced and highly qualified Agency Director, whose job it is to develop client relationships and match models and talent to specific job assignments. Some Agency Directors work part time while others are employed full time. Additional hours are added as the Agency bookings grow. Agency staff members are able to draw on the well-respected MTM name to attract local and national clients and a large number of assignments to the Agency. These clients have come to rely on the national network that MTM offers when assignments include campaigns in many different cities. Job Summary:The Agency Director position is the chief employee of the local agency, reporting to the Corporate Office and is charged with seeking model/talent assignments or jobs for talent represented by the MTM Agency.
Job Requirements:To perform this job successfully, a candidate must: Be a proven sales leader for securing new accounts. Professional appearance. Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. Have the ability to operate Microsoft Office, as well as maneuver relative software. Be highly motivated and have lots of enthusiasm. Possess a success driven mindset. Flexible day or early evening hours.Education/Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or related experience and/or training.
