Brand Ambassadors Needed For 3-on-3 Basketball Events!

RedPeg Marketing, Inc. Is looking for Brand Ambassadors in the Virgin Islands area to help execute at University of Virgin Islands campus events!! The event details are as follows:

The Brand Ambassadors will be responsible in assisting with a free 3-on-3-basketball tournament event and activities that surround the tournament including on site registration, tournament management, and opening/closing ceremony assistance.

Event Location:
University Of Virgin Islands - St Thomas, VI

ESTIMATED Dates:
Friday 11/2/12 Time: 5p - 9p* (set up)

Saturday 11/3/12 Time: 8a – 12p*

Saturday 11/3/12 Time: 8a – 7p*

  • Date and times are subject to change. Brand Ambassadors are guaranteed a minimum of 5 hours on event day
  • MANDATORY* Phone Training:
Thursday, 11/1/12 Time: 6:00p – 7:00p EST*

  • Time subject to change. Call-in number will be provided*.
  • Mandatory quiz sent to all participants after the training call MUST be submitted to program manager*
Job Responsibilities:
Set up/Break down

Load and unload program elements

Assist tour managers in setting up and executing various program elements

Follow leadership of full time tour managers

Support the basketball tournament registration initiative

Attract, interact with, and encourage students to participate in games, contests and giveaways

Assist with traffic flow of students throughout the event footprint by directing participants to the next activity area

Distribute premiums and maintain accurate inventory of product

Increase brand awareness for the U.S. Military

Retain brand knowledge and communicate message points pertaining to the assigned program element intelligently to all consumers

Assist with tournament registration

Utilize handheld tablets to collect data

Maintain organized flow throughout registration process

Qualified Candidates Required Skills:
Must be outgoing, approachable, professional, reliable, well-spoken and motivated

Must be comfortable talking and interacting with students, recruiters and tour staff

Must proactively approach/engage participants and recruiters

Outgoing personality, charismatic, self-motivated, and responsible

Be on your feet for 10+ hours

Previous experience in the promotional/experiential marketing industry a plus

Prior knowledge of basketball and/or sports a plus

Prior knowledge of the U.S. Military and National Guard a plus

Must be supportive of the U.S. Military

Wages:
$18/hr
