The GTF Finance/Cost Estimating Administrator will be responsible for understanding of all configuration definition and cost impacts in support of change pricing for non-recurring & recurring, preparation of recurring 'should-cost' BOM estimates, support of supplier RFP targets, change pricing fact find and negotiations, and sourcing strategy evaluation for cost impact. Understanding of plant capital impact on site rate structure. Lean event involvement and automation cycle time validation.
Minimum Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or Engineering (Manufacturing or Production) and 5+ years of related Cost Estimation experience, MBA with 4+ years of related cost estimation experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of related Cost Estimation experience will be accepted.

Knowledge of SAP system, Team Center & Catia V5.

Strong interpersonal & emotional intelligence skills, team player.

Familiarity with product structure & reading engineering drawings and Catia Models.

Understanding of labor & overhead rates, standard-to-actual ratios, & material factors.

Concise communication skills, planning and organizational skills.

Understanding of Continuous improvement and labor learning impact.

Previous experience with cost estimation, Manufacturing Engineering or Engineering of Aerospace products.

Sound reasoning and mathematical skills including an understanding of labor learning curve theories.

Understanding of non-recurring and manufacturing labor processes and material utilization.

Ability to design and implement new cost reports.

Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Office products (EXCEL, PowerPoint, & Word)

Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder.

Preferred:
The ideal candidate would have a Cost Estimating, Manufacturing / Industrial engineering or Engineering back ground familiar with aerospace manufacturing product flow, work instructions and tool families. Strong knowledge in part production cycle times and material utilization. Sound reasoning skills and ability to work with broad base of technical, operations and finance peers.
