Organization - Enterprise/Accenture Technology Labs Location - Washington, DC Accenture Technology Labs (ATL) - Part of Accenture's Technology Growth Platform Innovation & Ecosystem group - is Accenture's primary technology R&D organization. ATL's research charter is to explore technologies zero to five years from maturity and develop compelling prototypes that demonstrate the business implications of these technologies to our clients. ATL research projects provide value to Accenture in a variety of ways. They are used in client workshops in which C-level executives explore innovation and emerging opportunities. They are often featured in the media, helping to cast Accenture as a technology innovator. ATL projects also lead to a variety of academic publications, projecting an image of deep expertise as well as contributing to our ability to recruit the leading technology talent. ATL research projects also typically result in patents, contributing to Accenture's increasingly important IP portfolio. Central to our ability to deliver innovation workshops to clients, staff, vendors, alliance partners, and media is of course the development of asset and prototypes, but also the possibility of "sharing" experts around the global and allow them to participate to these events. This calls for access to state of the art collaboration technology for projects and workshops. Within Accenture Technology Labs, the Innovation Workshops team mission encompasses: Event-based showcasing of Accenture Technology Labs offerings and assets to clients, media, analysts, partners, vendors, and internal Accenture teams. Support of market development, marketing, business development, and sales activities, as well as Accenture innovation across 3 Accenture geographies (APAC, EALA and NA). Grow and maintain the Labs' showcase portfolio (physical & virtual channels) by working with Labs' plank and offering leads; Together with Local Technology Support resources, operate this multichannel showroom infrastructure across 3 geographies (APAC, EALA, and North America); Increase the Labs' reach and visibility through different channels by collaborating with marketing, capability development, media relations teams and as well as other innovation centers; Build, maintain and enhance the customer experience for visitors to the Lab Commit to shared KPIs such as client impact per geography, Accenture Innovation pilots, quality of service (event feedback), and financial balance Primary Responsibilities: Maintaining the Accenture Cyber Lab security compliance with enterprise standards and processes Providing technological support to Labs events during preparation, execution, and follow-up phases. This includes: Onsite and offsite client workshops, internal visits, media briefings, conferences, road shows, etc. Technical showcase operations, demo dry-runs, execution of showcase launch/shutdown procedures. Preparing and operating virtual collaboration tools such as WebEx or video conferencing which enable remote expertise or demonstrations to and from the Metro DC Labs facilities. Supporting Labs showcase technological needs during development, maintenance, and decommissioning phases. In close collaboration with ATL Net Ops and Accenture F&S teams, this includes: Physical showcase infrastructure (e.g. facilities, audio & video capabilities, etc.) Demo and prototype deployment, replication, and maintenance activities Support Labs procurement activities . As part of the workshop team, this would apply to Audio/Video equipment or project-specific hardware such as Biometric, RFID, or NFC devices. As the operations lead, this would also entail working with the NetOps team on purchasing IT servers, workstations, and laptops (such as those needed for the Cyber Range experimental environment) through standard CIO channels. This includes: Advising R&D teams on best procurement options (e.g. geography, vendor selection, and price) Create Purchase Orders by applying Labs financial guidelines; track delivery and payment of goods; and manage inventory of assets. Supporting installation, configuration and sustainment of the office infrastructure . This includes supporting: Coordination with F&S for the receiving and installation of all Labs-specific fit and finishes Configuration and stand up of A/V, video conferencing and demo kiosks in open, showcase, and meeting space Content management for all dynamic marketing Qualifications Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of configuring networks, servers and storage 1+ years of Audio/Video (example experience: Crestron/Lutron or AMX) 3+ years system administration 1+ years virtualization Preferred Technical Skills: VMware VSphere 5.x Cisco UCS blade servers UCS Fabric UCS Manager Switches and Firewall VMware VCloud Director 5.x Netapp Data ONTAP 8 HP SAN storage HP rack servers Professional Skill Requirements: Procurement experience Self starter, focused, eagerness to learn and develop new skills Global team player, outgoing, can easily establish contact with others Interest in creating new tools or improving existing processes, making suggestions Service-oriented approach, willingness to support and help colleagues Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook) Some experience with MS SharePoint Software coding or command line scripting for automation of demo environments Understanding of the purchasing procedures and tools used in Accenture Comfort with configuring networks, servers and storage. Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills Strong knowledge of Audio/Video equipment integration (e.g. displays, video projectors and conferencing, microphones and sound systems, etc.) Strong technology knowledge/background and interest in new technologies (including esoteric devices) Good knowledge of IT systems and networks to collaborate with Labs Net Ops team Broad technical knowledge of PCs, PC operating systems, PC development environments, virtualization, and wired and wireless networking Electrical and electronics assembly and troubleshooting Experience in office building facilities management Candidates who are currently employed by a client of Accenture or an affiliated Accenture business may not be eligible for consideration.
