Responsible for providing outstanding customer service.
This job is in the deli--preparation of deli foods.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accurate and effective completion of shift paper work.
Clean deli equipment and prep surfaces, sweeping and mopping.
Deli food preparation and proper procedures.
Use of fire extinguisher and other safety equipment.
Detection of shoplifters.
Vendor check in procedures.
Listening and handling customer complaints.
Advises store manager of any situations or policy violations having an adverse effect on store operating performance.
Must be able to work with customers and co-workers
Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, and nights.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Related retail experience a plus.
