Director, Child Welfare Programs: The Integrated Assessment Child Welfare Program at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, School of Social Work is seeking to hire a full-time position to begin immediately. The Director is responsible for overall implementation and management of the Integrated Assessment Program for 84 counties. This position requires an MSW from an accredited School of Social Work with three years post MSW practice experience. Must have at least ten years of professional child welfare work experience in both private and public child welfare agencies that includes new child welfare program development.

Must have five years of experience coordinating with DCFS and University program units in staff development and/or training for clinical skills, five years administrative experience supervising employees, managing budgets, developing programs and working a contract or grant-funded program with DCFS. Must have five years experience in foster care and adoptive services. This position will require extensive travel.
