Growing financial services firm seeking a technical Senior Accountant with financial analysis experience. This position will be responsible for managing corporate books and records, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of firm-related financial matters.

Essential Job Functions: Perform monthly and quarterly close. Perform variance analysis and prepare monthly management reports. Manage accounts receivable and monitor bank accounts. Prepare annual budget, budget updates and multi-year forecasts. Coordinate internal and external corporate audits. Perform modeling and analysis of firm’s financial data to assist executive team with strategic planning. Liaise with various internal and external operating units including department heads, corporate audit teams and parent company representatives. Function as team lead for corporate finance business continuity plan. Maintain Sarbanes Oxley documentation for various financial processes. Manage and enforce firm Travel and Entertainment policy. Manage employee expense reimbursement process. Perform fixed asset reconciliation. Assist with or manage additional duties and projects as required including, but not limited to preparing ad hoc reports for executive team, assisting with client and prospect due diligence questionnaires, preparing data for firm insurance policy renewals and filing business property tax returns. REQUIREMENTS: Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field MBA or CPA a plus Skills/Job Knowledge:
5+ years of accounting and financial analysis experience. Experience with G/L accounting and knowledge of GAAP. Knowledge of public accounting and policies and procedures a plus. Must be detail oriented and have excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to deliver excellent results within the established timeframes while managing multiple priorities. Ability to work independently with general supervision. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and working knowledge of PeopleSoft a plus.
