Trikon Hotel Group (official website: www.StaySF.com) owns and operates small and medium size hotels and motels in San Francisco and the Bay Area. We are happy to offer an opening for a General Manager of one of our hotels.

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations of a medium size hotel (50-90 guest rooms), using leadership skills to drive revenue, maximizing profit, ensuring quality of Guest Services, and applying effective management of assigned staff to achieve overall financial results, Guest satisfaction and positive Employee relations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Covers 2-4 Front Desk shifts/weekly Works with daily goal of increasing quality standards according to brand - including Quality Assurance Inspections & Guest Satisfaction Scores Communicates Guest feedback to hotel staff and addresses issues with staff in a timely manner Promotes efficient operating procedures to provide a flawless Guest experience. Actively engages with Guests from arrival to departure. Personally follows up on all Guests inquiries and concerns. Oversees day-to-day operations of the Guest Services, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Sales and Accounting departments Prospect new business and build relationships with existing clients alongside the Sales Teams Trains new Team Members, continuously provides mentoring and coaching to existing Team Members. Responsible for ongoing training and development of hotel associates Prepares and conducts annual employee reviews in a timely manner. Addresses performance issues accordingly and takes appropriate corrective action to hold employees accountable Monitor departmental scheduling and modify as necessary Control expenses and increase revenue to maximize hotel profitability Supervise maintenance, supplies, renovations and furnishings Review pricing and performance of approved contractors, vendors and suppliers to improve purchasing practices Carry out inspections of property and services Responsible for reviewing/releasing payroll and ensuring effective labor management May schedule pick-up and delivery for the laundry service Responsible for effective self/workload management and adjusting work schedule as dictated by business needs (on-call 24 hours a day in case of emergencies) Promotes a positive, productive, professional and collaborative work environment
