The Research Specialist is responsible for carrying out activities, assigned by the Senior Research Scientist, with a heavy emphasis on projects associated with adults working in agricultural settings, including projects funded by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). This individual will also collaborate with other Center staff on projects.

Job Qualifications:

Education: Master's degree in agricultural safety, public health, health communications, occupational safety, program evaluation, education or other related field is required. (Education qualifications must be from a school whose accreditation is recognized by Marshfield Clinic).

Experience: Minimum of two years of work experience in area(s) noted under "education" above. Previous experience working with rural populations is desirable. Working knowledge of program evaluation, public policy, child development and agricultural hazards is highly desirable.

This is a condition of employment. Employee must immediately notify his/her manager or the Clinic’s Compliance Officer if he/she is threatened with exclusion or becomes excluded from any federally funded program.
