Under the general direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, the neonatal nurse practitioner performs the functions of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care for neonatal patients. Nursing care is provided in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nurse Practice Acts, and ANA Standards of Practice.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required. Master's Degree in Advanced Practice Nursing preferred.
Current Kansas RN licensure required. Certificate of qualification to perform as a neonatal nurse practitioner
Prefer minimum of three years clinical experience in nursing practice.
