Fairfax area employer seeks to add new resources to their finance team in the billing area.
Responsible for contract compliance and accurate billing for assigned customers. This includes the establishment of processes, procedures and documentation to validate contract compliance and adherence to internal financial controls. Exhibit ownership for the administration of billing based on contract specifications and ensures the quality and audit controls are in place and adhered to. Ability to build and maintain good working relationships with other departments; provide constant communication on contract statuses, issues, and deadlines. Work closely with Client Services, IT Reporting & Development, Operations and Customer Service to promote billing quality. Requires working knowledge of GAAP Accounting, SOX guidelines and must exhibit a sound understanding and ability to carry out account reconciliations.
Minimum Qualifications :
BS/BA in a business related field, or equivalent experience.
Strong working knowledge of Excel, Account Reconciliation and GAAP Accounting are required.
Knowledge of billing payment processing systems, products and processes are a plus.
Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
