Sebesta Blomberg has an immediate opening for an Engineering Manager based out of our Roseville, MN office. This exciting position will be responsible for generating and overseeing work in our high performance building systems arena, including net zero buildings, laboratories, clean rooms, specialty manufacturing, data centers, performing art centers and LEED facilities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (including, but not limited to)
Plans, schedules, conducts or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope.
Performs work, which involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements.
Work requires a broad knowledge of precedents in the specialty area and a good knowledge of related specialties.
Manage and motivate staff to ensure project execution.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
PE Required
10 plus years related engineering experience with in depth knowledge of technical, regulatory, and operations in assigned business function.
Experience with HVAC and building systems
Experience working with architects on past projects
Working knowledge of sound business practices (i.e., financial, customer relations, marketing, business communications)
Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional interpersonal skills
