Responsibilities:
Hands-on experience working as a liaison between attorneys and IT for e-discovery related issues and accompanying attorneys to conferences where e-discovery issues may be negotiated.

Serves as a senior subject matter technical expert in advanced e-discovery, discovery practices, procedures and processes.

Produces/reviews substantive and/or complex technical documentation reflecting detailed knowledge of technical requirements of the task. Meets with Government management personnel and contractor managers.

Formulates and reviews strategic plans and studies, and ensures performance with standards.

Reviews work of project personnel.

Responsible for supervising, planning, staffing, and managing resources to meet contract requirements.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Additional Tasks: The Office Coordinator will provide the customer with guidance on best practices and functionality for the use of its existing technology, advise the customer concerning acquisition of new technology, and provide recommendations for policies to govern the use and support of litigation technology.

Education and Skills Needed:
Bachelor’s degree or six years of progressively complex experience of which a minimum of two years is specialized in managing contracts, funds, and resources.
Well developed understanding of advanced electronic discovery practices, procedures and processes; basic understanding of computer forensics; advanced skills in administrative use of local and hosted document review tools; trial presentation experience; multi-media conversion and display of audio/video controls, commonly utilized enterprise network architectures, storage solutions, email systems, application installation, batch file construction using Windows shell or similar scripting language, Windows registry, SharePoint site design.
Excellent project management skills, complex problem solving ability, verbal and written technical and litigation-related communication skills, ability to work under strict deadlines, and the ability to interact with all levels of attorneys, legal teams and other support staff as required.
Ability to advise legal teams in the development of case-specific litigation support protocols.
Proficient (manufacturer's active certification) in litigation support and related applications such as: local and hosted document review databases and supporting back-end databases, graphics, production format options (e.g. tiff/text, native file, hybrid, etc.) and other industry standard applications like Concordance (version 8x and higher), Summation, IPRO, Sanction, CaseMap, etc.
Must demonstrate a high level of comfort in giving live and video presentations before audiences of litigation support staff, IT staff, and attorneys, and coordinating vendor relationships.

Experience Required:
  • Six years of progressive technical and information resources management experience in technical areas required for the task assignments, 3 years experience in a law firm environment.
  • Selected candidate must pass credit and background checks and pre-employment drug screening.
