Senior Memory Design Engineer - 700827 Description Job Description: Component Design Engineers are responsible for the design and development of electronic components. Responsibilities may include: the design of chip layout circuit design, circuit checking, device evaluation and characterization, documentation of specifications, prototype construction and checkout, modification and evaluation of semiconductor devices and components, performing developmental and/or test work, reviewing product requirements and logic diagrams, planning and organizing design projects or phases of design projects. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a Master of Science degree or Ph.D. degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering. Additional required qualifications include:
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in custom SRAM or PROM design preferably for microprocessor family of products.
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience with implementing power saving circuit techniques and yield improvement features for the SRAM and PROM.
-A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated expertise in industry standard design tools including: formal equivalence verification, static timing tool, race check validation, noise and RV.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Exposure to compiled memory tool flow and scripting knowledge.
-Prior experience with Silicon debug is preferred. Patent and publications in the relevant field.
