The Kansas City Plant is a U. S. Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration facility managed and operated by Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies (FM&T). General Description:
Working with Senior Leaders across the enterprise to make the Honeywell Operating System (HOS ) " the way we operate our business" a reality. Responsible for influencing teammates and driving culture change resulting in improved business performance and customer satisfaction.

Influencing leaders and teammates to enable HOS implementation efforts across the enterprise
Becoming a recognized expert in HOS and the values that it brings
Leading and participating in Kaizen Events across the enterprise
Leading/mentoring individuals and teams through process improvement cycles
Actively coaching teammates and improving behaviors in order to consistently improve business results
Working with teammates to eliminate waste from key business processes in order to better meet customer needs
Applying Six Sigma Plus tools to improve process capability, reduce process variation, eliminate waste, optimize break-through performance, drive business excellence, and improve quality
Identifying and leveraging best practices across functions and businesses
Challenging established practices and processes
Documenting and institutionalizing improvements using controls and scorecards to ensure lasting project benefits
Conducts activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in accordance with established ES&H requirements to ensure the protection of associates, the public, and the environment. Takes actions necessary to stop work when an unsafe condition or action is identified. Every associate has the right and responsibility to stop work when unsafe conditions or actions are identified
Performs other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline (Quality, Engineering, Business Management or Manufacturing)
2 plus years of related experience
Must be an U.S. Citizen in order to obtain a DOE “Q” Level security clearance

Additional Qualifications:
Advanced technical or business degree preferred
Certification or pursuit of certification for Six Sigma Lean Expert within one year
Current Green Belt certification
Familiarity with one or more project management systems
Advanced presentation and training skills
Comfortable working or leading a cross-functional team
Able to influence others to receive business results
Bias for action/demonstrated ability to get results
Strong analytical/problem solving skills
Ability to motivate and energize others
Entrepreneurial spirit, experience with start-up programs preferable
Ability to analyze financial and business performance activities
Leading/Mentoring/Coaching skills
