Comcast is seeking an experienced professional to serve as the Director Delivery Assurance- responsible for increasing CET's overall effectiveness and productivity by assuring delivery through improved process standardization and maturity, process controls, standardized metrics and tools, and CMMI audit and certification. The Director Delivery assurance will be responsible for a team of dedicated and matrix resources to establish and drive the delivery assurance strategy for applications including BSS / OSS applications, enterprise services, customer facing web applications, and corporate systems.

Cross delivery team inclusion and coordination for process definition and compliance execution
Overall SDLC and project management process definition and alignment across the CET delivery organizations
Process training and mentoring
Process compliance audits
Ongoing SDLC and project management process compliance via standardized metrics and audits
Continued process improvement and roadmap to attain CMMI level 5 (multi year journey)
Provide standardized tool integration for SDLC, project management, and metric support
Drive management reviews to foster a better process culture
Identify risks related to process and product compliance in programs and bubble it up to Management team
Responsible for the setting and managing the budget and financial targets.
Manage, train and develop staff
Perform performance evaluations and continued coaching to staff.
Produce and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Manage the relationships and drive collaboration across the CET organization.
Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:
8+ years prior experience in software QA in managing process improvement programs
Knowledge on various standards or models like CMMI / PCMM/ ITIL /ISO 27001/ ISO 9001 / ISO 20000
Experience leading an organization thru CMMI certification and improvement
Prior experience in process definition, process implementation and leading organizations through certification programs
Ability to manage process related competency development activities
Should have had process consulting experience
Should have led at least 10 people for process implementation
Leading from the front and mentoring team of SQA professionals towards process compliance, best practice sharing and process improvement initiatives
Ability to look at different processes and assimilate and arrive at common processes
Bachelors/Masters of Science degree in a computer science or technical discipline or equivalent in work experience bringing new technologies to market in highly complicated, ambiguous, fast pace business environments.
Strong knowledge of telephony is a plus.
Strong collaborative leader and strategic thinker
Service Oriented Architecture knowledge is a plus
Excellent presentation and communication skills a must
Must be a team player able to work closely with cross-functional development groups
Ability to be effective in a fast paced, quickly changing environment.
